Our stand pouch design artwork is rich in colors, with more than 5-8 colors used, or even more.

On one hand, this is impossible to go with gravure plate printing any more, if the numbers of colors are more than the printing presses we have per machine. On the other hand that even it is within, one color needs one plate. There is a high plate cost.

What’s even worse? We are not sure if these designs will last in long term or not. Maybe it is only for market testing or maybe we’ll need to change them in the next season. Then the plate cost is a total waste.

Scenario No.2 – Multiple Designs

We are a start-up company and we have many ideas in mind. Or we are an established company and need to develop a new product line. However, the budget is tight. What should we do? Choose the flavor or design by hunch? Hmmm… I believe none of us is going to like it this way.

PRINTING ARTWORK FORMATS

Adobe Illustrator: AI （can be opened in Adobe Illustrator CC 2019）

Portable Document Format: PDF

Vector art in the design is highly recommended for all artwork.

FONTS

If fonts are included with files, all tests must be converted to outlines.

Outlined fonts cannot be changed or edited.

Outline fonts ensure no loss in the submitted artwork’s original appearance.

COLORS AND RESOLUTION

All artwork must be in CMYK format – RGB is not acceptable.

Black and white artwork must be provided in GRAYSCALE format.

Keep all files layered.

Artwork resolution must be at least 300 dpi at 100% in size or there will be a substantial drop in image quality.

We have very flexible custom printing solutions: digital printing, screen printing, rotogravure plate printing, and plain bags plus custom printed label stickers.

Digital printed stand up pouches are made by HP Indigo Digital Printing Press.

Screen printing stand up pouches are made based on some stock plain bags we hold. Printing graphics have to be simple.

Rotogravure plate custom printed stand up pouches are made by 9-color printing press.

Of course, you can also order plain bags from us with custom printed label stickers.
